即使稍早英國金融時報已預測，今日結束的中共18屆三中全會不會出現對交易市場明顯利多的結論，投資人仍預期該會議後，醫療保險、可再生能源、證券商、消費類股票、能源產商和鐵路等六個類股將有利多，而銀行、材料業和煤炭業等將出現利空。

可再生能源也被預期是該會議受益者，北京汙染過於嚴重，「暫緩經濟發展也許是可能的解決之道，但更直接的是增加清潔能源和可替代能源的利用」。日前政府已斥資數億人民幣，企圖解決空氣汙染、水汙染等，市場對可再生能源信心十足。
