走環保風 白宮安裝太陽能板

（法新社華盛頓15日電） 美國官員今天說，白宮部分地方將安裝太陽能板，以兌現2010年的承諾。
美國總統歐巴馬和家人正在瑪莎葡萄園島（Martha's Vineyard）度假1週，起重機工人此時則在白宮施工。
這位官員說：「白宮已經開始在第一家庭官邸安裝國產太陽能板，這是能源改造計畫的一環，將提升整座建築物整體能源效率。」
根據這位不具名官員，這項工程將包括安裝新的恆溫器和變速風扇。
官員說：「這項計畫將有助證明歷史建築也能結合太陽能源，增進節能。」
